The house is separated into 2 floors which are both self contained, perfect for a single group of two families who wish to share the entire house whilst maintaining some privacy, each floor is equipped with one living area, a fully equipped kitchen unit with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. Both floors have a reception area and two bedrooms, the first bedroom is a double Kingsize bed and the 2nd bedroom has two single beds. The house has 4 bedrooms in total and sleeps 8 people very comfortably.
Bookings are made for the entire property and the garden and pool area is for you and your groups exclusive use.
The accommodation is self catering with a minimum of stay of 2 nights. Check in is after 3pm and checkout is before 12 midday.
Children are very welcome but the swimming pool is 9 x 5 x 1.5 meters deep with no shallow end. The pool is unattended with no life guard so care will need to be taken with young children.
Rose Valley apartments is a family run business, owned and managed by Paul and Silviya, we take care of the grounds, the housekeeping and are on hand to make your stay a pleasant one, we can offer advice on local attractions, where to eat and anything else that you need in order to make you stay a memorable experience.

Located in beautiful mid Bulgaria this area is steeped in history and is rich in both culture and beauty. If you want to get out and explore this incredible area here are some of the local areas all located within a few kilometres from the house.
Shipka Monument
It was built to commemorate those who died in the battles for the Liberation of Bulgaria at the peaks of Shipka pass during the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-78. Four battles were held at the peaks of Shipka pass.
With the Russian general Stoletov leading 7500 defenders of which 5000 Bulgarians, he managed to repel the Ottoman army of 38000.
The monument is 32 meters high, a truncated pyramid with a 4 meters high bronze lion guarding its entrance. The monument has a museum inside with relics, weapons, flags, letters, uniforms and other objects used by Bulgarians during the late 19th century.
Buzludza monument
Over the last three decades, the monument has been abandoned, yet more and more tourists visit it as it is one of the biggest and highest-built communist monuments and has its own charisma. It often reaches the top charts for most staggering communist buildings and is also a famous destination for dark tourism.
Shipka Church
A small walk away from the house tucked away in the slopes of Bulgaria’s Balkan mountain range, hidden within a thick grove of trees, is the Shipka Memorial Church. Flitting in and out between curtains of leaves are the shimmering golden onion domes and Russian Orthodox crosses—tell-tale giveaways of the church’s Russian architecture; it is also known as the Russian Church in Shipka and the Memorial Temple of the Birth of Christ, and as part of the larger Shipka Monastery
Koprinka Lake
Koprinka is a reservoir and dam in the Rose Valley, central Bulgaria. Its construction began after 1944 and was finished in 1956. It was built on the Tundzha river at 7 km to the west of the city of Kazanlak near the village of Koprinka.
This is a local place of outstanding beauty with some wonderful restaurants to eat lunch or dinner.

Rose Festival
Every year, during in June, local community in Kazanlak organizes the annual Rose Festival. The first festival took place 108 years ago, in 1903. Celebrations were held annually, at the beginning of the rose- harvesting period.
This is a popular event in the area attracting international visitors from all over the world.
It can be very busy in the area during the festival with accommodation booking fast.
It is well known that in the heart of Bulgaria, between the mountains Stara Planina and Sredna Gora lies the Valley of Roses, globally known for the production of ’liquid gold’ – rose oil.
